Question:
This scripture & question came in email pertaining to falling from grace.
1 Timothy 4:1 New American
Standard
But the Spirit explicitly says that in later
times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to
deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons.
This would be my
footnote to this verse:
(In these last days do you know of anyone
that is [taking heed] paying attention to deceitful spirits and
doctrines of demons? I do! I also know they were and are a
child of God and the HS is in them wooing them to the right path. Have
I ever done the same? Yes! Am I doing it now? No!
The HS does not win every battle BUT make no mistake - the HS
wins the WAR! I have been a child of God from childhood. I am glad
that in most cases only God knows about the deceitful spirits and
doctrines I have run after. All the time God and I both knew Elvis was
His son. Even if I had decided I did not want to be His son - tough.
No deceitful spirit or anyone or anything can remove me from His hand
- sonship.)

Question:
So you think God takes in consideration WHY we do something here on
this earth? If it's wrong I mean. Well I know He looks at
"motive" if it's right...When you ask God for forgiveness
and you TRULY repent you will not want or SHOULD NOT continue in the
same wrongdoing.
Answer:
A Christian does one of two things 24 hours a day - either walks in
the spirit or walks in the flesh. Now catch this, it is a choice
at every moment to walk in the flesh or walk in the spirit.
While walking in the flesh a Christian
will do good or bad but, from God's viewpoint, it does not matter
if it is good or bad. Done in the flesh, it is a sin because it
is not of the spirit (faith).
Now when a Christian makes the choice
to walk in the spirit (letting Jesus in you do it through You) it
is God's grace that causes the Christian to do good and never bad. God
is not a Liberal or a conservative - God is Right. It is easy to walk
in the spirit (rest) for His burden is light. Hey, I don't
want to goof it up in the flesh (my way), so Jesus you do it your way
while I rest in Your righteousness.
During the moment the Christian is
not walking in the spirit the Christian has chosen to fall from grace;
therefore, while walking in the flesh the Christian can not please
God.

In the flesh or in the spirit, the
Christian is a child of God. It is just that while walking in the
flesh we can not please Him. He will only let us walk wrongly in the
flesh for so long before He stops us with His kisses while
holding us down, long enough so we can see our flesh action for what
it is.* Then it is back to the Jesus in us where it is warm, cuddly and
very restful.
The reward for good things done in the
flesh comes not from God but from the people that know we did it
and from our own ego. When we do good or bad in the flesh we
are under the law during those moments and we either keep it
or we don't. Guess what? Most of the time we don't and even when
we do keep it, we get no points from our Father. When walking in the
flesh we have chosen to walk under the law as if we are a lost sinner. As
Christians we should walk by Grace and rest in Jesus that He will make the
right decisions. Remember, all good things come from Him.
Remember when I told you to just
"stay close to Jesus". Well, He is in you so walk in
Him. Walking in the spirit renews our mind and we think what He
thinks.

Question:
There seems to be strong areas of disagreement about the Bible. Why
the mystery?
Answer:
There are two "mind sets" pertaining to the bible (word of
God).
1.
from a view point (or filter) of the law.
2.
from a view point (or filter) of grace.
The Christian with #1 view point
receives the word with that filter.
The Christian with #2 view point
receives the word with that filter.
The Christian with #2 view point
always comes through #1 first.
Every Christian that I have ever
talked with that has the #2 view point admits quickly that without the
Holy Spirit bringing this fact to them they would still be with
#1.
They can tell you of the time that
someone said something that became the key that opened the
#2 door.
What difference does it make about #1
or #2? Nothing! pertaining to heaven or eternity. Both 1 & 2 are
born again Christians and on the way to heaven.
The difference is now: why we do what
we do or don't do while we are on earth now.
The difference is just too great and
too much to talk about in this writing, but, when it happens all the
things we have been wondering about in the Bible start to clear.

What is this great good news the preachers tell us about?
